She reminds me so much of Kaitlynn when she was a baby. This is what she does the entire time we are in the pool. She is doing this at 16 months old, Kendall is 3 years old and still will not do this. They are just so different!

Not a great weekend.....

So, this is what happens on a peaceful, sunny Saturday morning?? I'm just glad that it happened after I went into the house.... We spent the weekend cleaning up this mess. Not really what we had planned. We were still able to make it to the four parties that we had RSVP'd to so there was some good to the weekend.

Kendall absolutely loved the Dixie Stampede. She sat so still and was really into it. After we left we drove down the road a little ways and saw pony rides. I knew Kendall would want ride.

Last Friday, around lunch time, I got a message from Trey. He asked if I wanted to go to the Dixie Stampede that night. I said sure! Well, he called to get us tickets and they only had tickets left for the 4 o'clock show. Hmmm.... Kaitlynn had swim lessons till 2 and it is about an hour and a half drive. I thought about it and then said yeah we can make it. So I quickly got online and booked us a room so we would be able to go to Dollywood the next day. I got everyone packed. Trey came home from work. We got in the car, swung by the pool, got Kaitlynn, and hit the road. We hit a little traffic but we made it with about 15 minutes to spare. Woo! We got to our front row seats and the show started about 5 minutes later. We were really cutting it close. The girls really enjoyed the show and were so good! The next day we went to Dollywood and rode everything in the park. It wasn't very busy at all especially for a Saturday. Maybe because it was Father's Day weekend or it could have been because it was a very hot day, I don't know?
