Kylee's 18th month stats.

I took Kylee into the doctor this morning for her 18 month old check. She weighs 27 lbs and is 34 inches tall! Everything checked out fine.

A Kaitlynn story.

I should have put this in the tournament post, but I forgot. After the big win Sunday afternoon, Kaitlynn ran up to me and held her hand out like she wanted to give me something. I put my hand out and she dropped something in it. She turned to walk away and I opened my hand. I then said "Is this a tooth?!" then she said "yeah!" like it wasn't a big deal at all. Yes, it was a baby tooth so she is okay. I didn't even know she had a loose tooth. I asked her if she knew she had a loose one and she said no. Oh well, we brought her home in two pieces.

Kaitlynn's Knee

I took Kaitlynn to the doctor yesterday because she has been complaining about her knee since February. I had been telling her that it was just growing pains. It hasn't been very swollen until about two weeks ago when this showed up.

So we had the x-rays done and the doctor diagnosed her with Osgood-Schlatter's disease. We are hoping that she can keep up her athletics. This is something that she will just have to learn to live with as there is no real cure. Hopefully, when she stops growing the pain will go away. She's just nine so my guess is she still has some growing to do.

First tournament a big WIN!

Kaitlynn's new competitive soccer team played in their first tournament over the weekend. They played their first game Saturday morning and they lost. They played again Saturday afternoon and won. They played again on Sunday morning and WON! This win landed them in the championship game Sunday afternoon. They had to play the team that beat them Saturday morning and they won easily. It's great to see how well these girls play together.

Something Neat!

I was feeding the dogs this morning and saw this. I just had to take a picture because I have never actually seen one of these before. I have seen the empty shells but never what came out of them. Just thought it was neat!

Kaitlynn's Baptism

Kaitlynn made the decision about a week and a half ago that she was ready to be baptized. She made the decision while attending VBS at her friend's church. The following Sunday she stood in front of the congregation at our church and made her announcement. She was baptized this morning. :)

Zoo Party Pics!

Kaitlynn and Kendall in their zoo party hats!

Kendall picked an elephant hat.

Kylee chose a duck hat and Kaitlynn chose a lion hat.

Working a large wooden alligator puzzle.

Almost done.

Moving on to the elephant puzzle. Kendall looks likes she has it all under control.

Looks like Kylee has the missing piece to the giraffe puzzle.

Kendall was so sure that she had Kylee's hat on the right way. I had to take a picture of her and let her see the camera before she almost believed me. Oh well, I tried.

The girls petting a very special party guest. A hedgehog!

Kylee loved it! Oh, and I promise we put shoes on Kendall everyday. She just will not keep them on. She takes them off no matter where she is.

Kaitlynn and her OLDER cousin Sunny. Kaitlynn definitely gets her height from Trey.

Kaitlynn and Trey taking a look.

Kendall loved watching the bears eat watermelon.

My cousin had her 5th birthday party at the zoo last weekend. It was a great day, the weather was beautiful, and the girls had a great time.
