Guess who?

I decided to blow dry the girls' hair today after their baths since it seemed to be a little chilly in the house.
It's hard to believe how long her hair is!
Curly Kylee is rockin straight hair today!

New Year's Resolutions -Update

I'm behind on posting but here is an update. The items in purple are what I did in January.

  • Start and maintain a Project 366 blog. Click here for link. Doing very well at maintaining this!
  • Run three half marathons in 2012 Completed two half marathons in January. Ran one and walked the other because I was sick.
  • Run a 10K race in 2012.
  • Run two or more 5K races in 2012.
  • Run more than 500 total miles in 2012. 41.79 miles ran/walked in January.
  • Swim more.
  • Bike more.
  • Try not to eat as much fast food. Failing miserably at this!
  • Read! I don't do this at all! I read two books all last year that's it!

Daddy Daughter Dance #5

Kendall was the last one to go to a dance. She went to the Saturday night dance.
She was ready to go early so we had lots of time to take pictures.
She loves posing for the camera.

Daddy Daughter Dance #4

Kylee was up next. She went to one of the Saturday afternoon dances.
 Pretty in Pink!

Daddy Daughter Dance #12

The weekend we got back from California just so happened to be the weekend of the daddy daughter dances. It was definitely a busy weekend since Trey takes all of the girls to a different dance instead of all at once. Kaitlynn started the weekend of dances off by going on Friday night.
 Kaitlynn in her heels...
She was about 5'11 that night.
 Trey is 6'3.

Tinker Bell Half Marathon Race Pictures

As promised here are some of the many race pictures that the race photographers caught me in. First a picture of the start line... I'm actually in this one because I was in the first corral of this race.

Okay, so I have already shared my finish time with you all and admitted that I walked the race.
Early on in the race I decided I was going to run for the cameras. It was easy to see the photographers since it was dark out and they had their flash on.
I'm pretty sure the lady in the background of this picture was on her cell phone. Yep, I may have started in corral A but it didn't take me long to fall back with the walkers.

I also stopped for a few posed pictures since there was no time goal that I had set for myself. Even if I had set one it wouldn't have happened anyways since I was and still am sick! 17 days and counting. Ughh!

The picture below shows how I looked during most of the race. A cup of water in my hand to try to keep me from coughing.
Oh snap, busted! I didn't see that camera. Walking towards the finish line.
Almost there! So happy to be done. Pointing at my Coast to Coast bracelet. There were only 900 of us completing the Coast to Coast challenge that morning.

 Crossing the finish line!
Me and my Tinker Bell medal.
Me with all three of my medals. Coast to Coast, Donald, and Tinker Bell.
I carried my Donald medal in my bag during the race so that I would have it at the finish line for this picture. So happy that I did this challenge. I would have loved to be healthy for both races but things don't always go as planned. Maybe I will take another crack at this challenge in the future?
