Spring Break Day 9

We woke up this morning, had breakfast at the hotel and hit the road! We stopped a little above Atlanta at a Mexican restaurant for lunch. It was delicious! There was also a nice surprise for the kiddos there. There was a man from Balloon Distractions making cool balloon creatures while you ate. Kynsee got a pig.

Kendall got a unicorn.

Kylee got a mermaid.

We are home now and about to call it a night. Ugh, back to school tomorrow.

Spring Break Day 8

Our last day at Disney! We headed over to Epcot and rode Test Track and Mission Space before making our way to the World Showcase... Then it hit... A massive storm that kept us inside this restaurant for over two hours! The kids didn't complain though. Of course the ice cream probably helped a little. :)

When we realized the storm wasn't going to let up we just made a run for it. Not sure how much running actually helped, we were soaked by the time we made it to the car. We drove a few hours before we decided to call it a night. We spent the night in south Georgia.

Spring Break Day 7

Late post because yesterday's fun didn't end until this morning! :)  We started the day with a little swimming. Thought this sign by the pool was a nice reminder that we are in Florida.

When I say swimming I mostly mean soaking in the hot tub.

After some swimming we ate lunch and Kynsee took a nap. We anxiously waited for her to wake up so we could go to Hollywood Studios.

While the girls and Trey were on Star Tours Kynsee practiced her "cheese" face for the camera.

Next Up Toy Story Midway Mania. Kynsee loves this one.

Even if she doesn't score any points...

The Great Movie Ride is always a hit!

It wouldn't be a trip to the Studios without some Tower of Terror!

Kynsee was given the nickname Gizmo when she was younger because she didn't like bright lights. The name has stuck and this seemed like a funny photo opportunity.

We also had dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's last night.

Kynsee enjoyed giving the characters high fives and blowing them kisses.

Just a little celebrating with the rest of the restaurant. At first it seemed crazy but it didn't take long for Kynsee to join in and swing her napkin above her head too!

During dinner everyone worked hard to convince me that we should hop over to the Magic Kingdom for some late night fun. It's been a while since we closed a park down.

First we watched the light parade.

Then we went on the Tomorrowland Speedway.

Followed by the teacups (which Trey and I did not ride) and the Barnstormer.

Who doesn't enjoy flying with Dumbo at 10:15 at night?!

We decided the Jungle Cruise would be fun in the dark so we did that next. After that we went on Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Should a one year old be this fired-up at midnight? She was dancing on Trey's shoulders.

The last ride we were able to get on before the park closed was The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

Wow, it was a late night! I think we made it back to our resort a little after one and quickly went to bed. One day left!
