February Total

Here it is..... My total for February is 67.02 miles! Yay, February is even a short month. I also had a week without running when we got hit with that awful stomach bug. I was so excited to see that my total had went up from last month's 61.77 miles. Feeling pretty good right now. Just got to keep with it! 128.79 miles in 2010, going for 500 (or more). :)

And this is what her knee looked like after two games in one day. She isn't complaining about it though. It just looks bad. She has already said, more than once, tonight that she loved today. She says she likes days where she gets to play soccer all day. I think she missed it a lot over the last few months. Well, off to bed now.... She has another game tomorrow.

Kaitlynn had her first soccer game of the season this morning and boy was it cold! She has another game this afternoon maybe it will be warmer?

A Funny Kendall Story Part II

I asked Kendall this evening if she was going to play soccer this fall. Her answer "yes........................ Outside?!" Yes, that is what she said. Next time I ask her she will probably ask me if it will be hot outside. Ha, she is such a girly girl!

Funny Kendall story!

I just told Trey "Hey, Kendall will be old enough to play soccer in the fall." Kendall was walking through the room at the same time and said "WHAT?!" I'm not really sure what she meant by that? I did laugh out loud though. :)

Follow-up...

So, Kendall went to Kaitlynn's Valentine's Party at school and that same afternoon......... I felt it coming on..... Yes, the dreaded stomach bug! I really thought I had avoided it, but I guess not. I left the school with Kendall and Kaitlynn and drove to my parents' house to pick Kylee up. After getting her we went home and I went straight to bed. Kylee followed and that is where we stayed until about noon on Saturday! Along with the obvious stomach issues this bug caused an awful headache and all I wanted to do was sleep.

Trey and I had plans for dinner and a carriage ride Saturday night and I had no plans of missing that! So, I popped a bunch of Pepto and off we went. I didn't eat much but did enjoy the night out. Here's a picture of us in the carriage.




When we got home that evening it started again and I was up almost all night.

This morning I thought I was feeling better so off to church we went. Well, we made it to Sunday School and that was it. I didn't want to chance it and stay for the service. Back home and back to bed. Of course we weren't lucky enough to catch a 24hr bug. Nope not that lucky....

Fast forward to this evening...... It has now taken another victim. Poor Kendall has now fallen ill. I really hope it isn't a long night for us.

What a week....

and it isn't over yet!

Let's see after the three daddy daughter dances there was the Super Bowl! We had a few people over that night to watch it with us. It was fun and Kendall made a new friend. ;) Monday morning was spent cleaning up. Monday afternoon I picked Kaitlynn up from school, took her home to change for soccer practice, and then dropped her off at practice. I went home to cook dinner and Trey picked Kaitlynn up on his way home. She walked in the door and said she wasn't eating dinner. OK, that's odd. Trey said he thought she was out of shape as this was her first practice of the season, so we didn't think too much about it. She took a shower and went to bed around 6:30 (not like her at all). Then it started, the dreaded stomach bug. Ughhh! Why? She was up practically all night sick. At 5am she finally put her sleeping bag in the hall outside the bathroom door.... The next morning I kept Kendall and Kylee away from Kaitlynn's bathroom and bedroom. I got them ready and dropped them off at Mother's Day Out. I then came back home to disinfect the house and try to keep Kaitlynn hydrated. Pepto every two hours was the only thing that worked. That afternoon I picked Kendall and Kylee up from Mother's Day Out, brought them home, quickly changed Kendall into her ballet gear and left again. I took Kendall to ballet and then brought both Kendall and Kylee home, fed them and kept them away from Kaitlynn and anything or place she had been around.

The next morning Kaitlynn was still sick and very weak. She stayed home from school again. I took Kendall and Kylee to another Mother's Day Out program that they only go to if I have something to do on Wednesdays. I wanted to keep them away from Kaitlynn and the only way to do that was to get them out of the house. It worked out great because they got to exchange Valentines and party at their "other school" as they call it. Kaitlynn started feeling better last night, thank goodness! Also, Trey got home last night.... Did I mention he was in Nashville for a judge's conference during all of this? Yeah, so all the illness associated duties fell on me. I am feeling quite well about it though because so far no else has gotten sick.

Kaitlynn returned to school today and Kendall and Kylee went to Mother's Day Out again today. They normally go on Tuesdays and Thursdays, except this week they went to school three days in a row and it is definitely showing. They are exhausted. They exchanged Valentines and partied at their regular school today, so they are coming off of a sugar high to top it off. I see an early bedtime in their near future.

Kaitlynn has her Valentine's party at school tomorrow. I get to go help out with that, but I may leave Kendall and Kylee with Nana. I'm thinking they have had enough parties this week? Kylee is fine with that idea but Kendall has voiced that she wants to go. We shall see how this goes.....

Daddy Daughter Dance #3

Last one! Kendall and Trey are at their third Daddy Daughter Dance right now. I hope Trey has the energy to keep up since this is his third dance of the weekend. Kendall was so excited!










I just had to add this last picture. This is Kendall waiting for Trey and Kylee to get home from the matinee dance so he could take her to the night dance. She was ready hours before it was time to go!

Kylee will be going tomorrow afternoon and Kendall will be going tomorrow night. So.... check back throughout the weekend I will be posting many more pics!
