Kynsee's 4.5 Month Pictures
The Portrait Shoppe has a baby program where you bring your baby in every couple of months for a free 5x7 or 8x10 (depending on how many times you come in). I took the older three girls in five times before they turned 18 months old, so I have a cute five picture collage frame for each of them. The studio even gives you the frame for free. I plan on doing the same for Kynsee. Of course, while we are there we make several outfit changes and I end up buying a bunch of different poses. :)

Just a few more...
Here are a few more pictures from our weekend trip to Disney World that we took at the beginning of the month.
We went so that Kaitlynn and I could compete in the Expedition Everest Challenge.
Trey, Kynsee, and Kylee went as well. Kendall decided to stay with Nana and Papaw because she did not want to miss field day at school (more on that later).
The girls at the ESPN center restaurant.
Kylee on the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground at Hollywood Studios.
When I got home I realized that I have almost this exact same picture that I took a few years back. :)
Singin' in the Rain
Kylee was tall enough for Rockin Roller Coaster and she loved it!
We also visited Typhoon Lagoon.
I've really enjoyed the Disney water parks.
Can't wait to go back!

Our Little Graduate!
Today was a big day in our house. Kylee graduated! From pre-k that is. :) She's our first one to have a graduation ceremony.
So cute! I almost didn't buy this photo because I don't have pre-k cap and gown pictures for Kendall and Kaitlynn (they didn't go to the same pre-k). I couldn't resist though and I am so glad.
We got to listen to the class as they sang quite a few of their favorite songs before they were awarded their diplomas.
Kylee accepting her diploma. I didn't have the settings right on my new camera when I took this one, so it's a little blurry.
Kylee with her family!
Ready for kindergarten!

Disney Expedition Everest Challenge
Last weekend Kaitlynn and I competed in the Disney Expedition Everest Challenge. This was our third time completing this race. You can read about the previous years by clicking 2010 and 2011.
Once we made it to Orlando, the first thing we had to do was pick up our race packets.
Then we had to leave our mark on the Everest Challenge autograph board.
The next night we made our way to the Animal Kingdom for the race.
We were able to snap a few funny pictures at the start line.
There's no hiding the fact that my 13 year old is 6+ inches taller than me!
Like I mentioned above this was our third time competing in this race. In 2011 there was a mother/daughter division that you could register under, there wasn't an option for that this year. Instead we registered under the women's team division. I'm happy to report that we finished 86th out of 504 teams! Top 17%! The race began with a 5K run with three obstacles scattered throughout the course. The first obstacle was jumping hay bales, which was by far the easiest. The second obstacle was running through tires, that seemed to go on forever. Really wish I had longer legs for that obstacle. The final obstacle was crawling under a cargo net. This is our least favorite obstacle. It seems like we always get stuck behind slow-movers on this one and it also makes me feel a little claustrophobic. Our official finish team for the 5K obstacle run was 33:51. Next up was the scavenger hunt. For us this always takes longer than the run. I was hoping we would have changed that this year but we missed our first clue and had to back track some. Our scavenger hunt time was 37:17. We finished with an overall time of 1:11:08. Here's a link to the results. When we crossed the finish line I looked down at my Garmin and saw we had actually ran 5.16 miles. Don't let the fact that they call it a 5K fool you. The scavenger hunt adds a couple miles onto the race.
I'm very proud of this girl! I know I wasn't running 3-6 miles for fun when I was 13. Go Kait!
Check out our dirty knees from crawling under that cargo net! I certainly hope we get to do this race again, it's so much fun!
